Drawings
Upload a PDF drawing set and automatically extract the information from each sheet's title block. Sheet ID, Title, Discipline, and Revision are read from every page, so your drawing set is organized and searchable with minimal manual work.
Why it matters
A drawing set can contain 100+ sheets. Entering the Sheet ID, Title, and Discipline for every sheet manually takes time before you can start working with the drawings.
Drawings automates this process, so your drawing library is organized as soon as the set is uploaded.
How it works
1. Upload the set
Drop in a PDF drawing set. Each page becomes a sheet and is grouped under one drawing set.
2. The title block gets read
Drawings automatically reads the Sheet ID, Title, Discipline, and Revision from each page's title block.
3. You confirm, once
Review the information on the first sheet and correct anything that needs adjustment. If a field is in a specific location, draw a box around it. That location is then used to read the same field on the remaining sheets.
4. It's in your library
Once confirmed, the drawings are available in your library and can be searched and filtered by Discipline, Status, Sheet ID, or Date.
How the reading works
Recognition runs page by page, rather than treating the entire set as one document. This means scanned sheets and clean digital exports can be processed correctly within the same drawing set.
If you correct where a field is located, that correction is applied to the remaining sheets. You don't need to make the same correction on every page.
Beyond intake
Markup tied to the project, not floating
Draw, measure, and calibrate the canvas to real feet or meters. You can then link a markup directly to an RFI, Submittal, Document, or Photo already in the project.
Compare revisions, side by side
Open two revisions of the same sheet side by side to quickly identify what changed.
Share past the platform, too
Generate an external link or export the drawing to PDF. Markups and links stay intact and clickable, including when the drawing is shared with someone who isn't logged in.
What you get
- An organized drawing library without manually entering every sheet.
- Markups connected to the project records they relate to.
- A visible revision history that makes changes easy to review.
